Kent Trader Home Inspection Services
General Home Inspection
The General Home Inspection offered by Kent Trader Home Inspection Services adheres to the Standards of Practice set up by ASHI, InterNACHI, and the North Carolina Board. Our inspections are always thorough and include the inspection of all the components in the home, both cosmetic and structural, that can be safely accessed.

Re-Inspection
Homebuyers can choose to have a Re-Inspection done on a home after the findings from the first General Home Inspection have been repaired. This inspection ensures that all repairs are complete and safe and that the home is move-in ready.

Thermal Imaging
With the use of a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera, we are able to detect moisture and areas of heat loss within a home’s walls. These areas would not be visible without our advanced tool, and thermal imaging can help us detect problems with the electrical system or moisture damage.

Aerial Drone Photography
Our Aerial Drone is capable of taking overhead pictures of a property’s grounds or roof. This is helpful in situations where the roof is not safely accessible for our inspectors, or when we need photos of the entire property.

Pre-Listing Inspection
Our Pre-Listing Inspection is similar to our General Home Inspection but is offered to sellers. This inspection offers sellers the opportunity to repair damages in the home before listing it for sale so that it’s in great condition once potential buyers come to see it.

New Construction Inspection
We offer our New Construction Home Inspection for new homes before the final construction walkthrough is completed. An outside party is often able to see defects in construction that the builders might have missed.

New Construction Phase Inspection
We also offer a New Construction Phase Inspection which gives the builder a report on every phase of a home’s construction. This ensures that each phase of construction is being completed up to standard, and the information can be shared with insurance companies before moving on to the next phase.

4 Point Inspection
Our 4 Point Inspection covers four significant areas of the home – roof, electrical system, plumbing system, and HVAC. Findings from this inspection can be given to insurance companies.

Loan Draw Inspection
Our Loan Draw Inspection is completed throughout the construction process of a home. After each of the inspections, we provide the builder with the inspection reports required by banks and lenders for their construction loan agreements.
Additional Services

Mold Inspection
Mold spores in the air can be harmful to the health of you and your family. Additionally, mold left growing in the home undetected can begin causing structural damage. With the use of a moisture meter, we are able to detect if mold is present in the home.

Radon Inspection
Radon is a tasteless, odorless, and invisible toxic gas which is linked to lung cancer. It is incredibly dangerous to anyone exposed to it, so protect yourself and your family by having us inspect your home for radon.

Termite Inspection
Termites can cause major structural damage in the home, but they often go unnoticed until the problem is severe and costly. Avoid major damages and expenses by having us inspect your home for termites.
