About Kent Trader, LLC Home Inspection Services
Kent Trader began his career in the Architectural Design and Residential Construction industry working for three years as an Architectural Draftsman. During this time, he was able to develop a keen eye for details and became fascinated with residential construction. He then moved on to work for North Carolina’s Department of Transportation, where he did civil engineering and bridge inspections for 30 years. Once he retired, Kent continued working by offering consults, doing carpentry, and building decks and porches. He decided to put his detail-oriented skills to use and started Kent Trader, LLC. Home Inspection Services in 2015. Since then, Kent has received professional certification and has completed over 200 inspections for his satisfied customers.
Home Inspection Training and Certification
In 2015, Kent Trader received training from Gregory Enterprises Home Inspection Training Center, and in 2016 he received additional training from AmeriSpec. Now, Kent continues his education by staying up-to-date with both ASHI and InterNACHI requirements. He is a Certified Professional Home Inspector and a member of ASHI, InterNACHI, and the North Carolina Licensed Home Inspectors Association. Additionally, Kent Trader has specialized certification and licensure in radon, mold, and termite inspections.
Born and Raised in North Carolina
Kent was born and raised in Benson, North Carolina, and he still resides there today. Outside of home inspection, Kent enjoys caring for and boarding horses, as well as completing small carpentry projects around the farm.
